This proposed project is a new neighborhood of approximately 143 dwelling units including single-family detached, duplex, and townhome units on a 40-acre site south of STH 19 and immediately east of the Glacier Crossing development. The project was built using traditional neighborhood design (TND) principles including small lots, traditional architectural themes, narrow streets, sidewalks on both sides of all streets, bicycle and pedestrian paths, and extensive open space features.
The project included the protection and enhancement of an adjacent wetland, establishment of an internal pedestrian trail system, and architectural and site covenants that promote a new urban design that includes alleys, porches, minimal front setbacks, and smaller lot sizes.
