• Good transportation - direct connection to I-90
• Great facilities - Aquatic Center, Parks
• Excellent park & rec programs

• Community pride and people
• Aquatic center /Deerwood Park areas
• Government efficiency and non-political fighting

• Scenic area
• Safe community
• Good school system /Local governments

• Professional leadership
• Aquatic center
• Many parks

• Small town atmosphere
• Good housing
• Business is growing

DISLIKES

• Lack of pedestrian friendliness, (overpass for foot traffic on Holmen Drive) (some sidewalks in "old" neighborhoods come to abrupt dead ends)


• Lack of attractive storefronts on Holmen Drive (inventory should be in back of buildings, storefront on street)
• Lack of development /growth rule controls and ratios on residential property types (low density, medium density, etc.)

• Need more services & businesses
• Needs small town feel
• Needs more public participation in meetings

• Commercial - residential - more homes too close together

• Do not apply for grants
• Not fast enough on business growth
• More green space

• Townships using village services
• Townships providing no police protection resulting in Village officers answering calls outside corporate limits

• No business - recreational establishments
• Holmen Drive - Aesthetics
• Needs more trees
• Lack of senior housing / ??

• Lack of career-type employment
• Lack of retail business
• High cost of living versus job market

• Not enough bike paths
• Not enough aesthetic attention to undeveloped areas
