New Perkins Part of Plan

Due to the significant impact the Fish Hatchery interchange would have on the parcel, Perkins was initially told they would need to leave their current site and be relocated.

Through many iterations and contacts with the D.O.T., SAA was able to persuade the D.O.T. to tighten the frontage road design so they wouldn't take so much of the parcel. Once the design was changed, SAA was able to create a site plan that gave Perkins the parking they needed, exceed stormwater standards, and allow the new Perkins restaurant to be constructed while the old restaurant remained in service. This will minimize the amount of time the restaurant is not open for business.

Through SAA's efforts and knowledge of redevelopment sites and road design, Perkins was able to remain on their most profitable site.
