The Village of Albany has contracted professional planners, landscape architects, and engineers at SAA Design Group and R.H. Batterman to prepare conceptual improvements to public space, streetscape, and infrastructure in the Village's downtown and riverfront area. A key component of this project involves engaging citizens, businesses, property owners, and visitors in defining the vision for the future of the community's heart and soul. The village plans commission will host meetings throughout the process, and content from those meetings will be posted here for the review and comment of those unable to attend. Please take a moment to review and provide feedback on the items presented here, exactly as they are presented at the public meeting (without the snacks and great discussion, of course!) If you can, please try to keep an eye out for public meetings on this project and plan to attend. The next is scheduled for June 28, 2012 at 6:30 pm, at the Albertson Memorial Library.
